Sôcôla có khả năng chống lại bệnh tim và ung thư

(SK&ĐS) - Các nhà khoa học thuộc Công ty sôcôla Hershey (Mỹ) đã tiến hành so sánh lượng chất chống ôxy hóa trong sôcôla đen và cacao với nước ép từ các loại hoa quả. Kết quả cho thấy, sôcôla đen và cacao có chứa chất chống ôxy hóa flavanol nhiều hơn hoa quả. Trong đó, chất chống ôxy hóa flavanol có tác dụng làm trung hòa các phân tử phân hủy và cũng được cho là có khả năng chống lại bệnh tim và ung thư.
