Support more than 1 billion VND for part-boarding school for preschool children in Dakrong district

(QTO) - Taiwan Zhishan Foundation has just organized a grant to support semi-boarding education for preschool children in Dakrong district. More than 1,800 children of 7 kindergartens in the area have benefited from this support. Locally, the leader of the Zhishan Foundation Taiwan awarded more than 1 billion VND to the leaders of Dakrong district. In particular, the funding to support semi-boarding school in the first semester is more than 800 million VND, the remaining amount is to support the children to drink milk, help the school buy boarding equipment and support gasoline for staff. support.

Mr. Hoang Trong Thuy, Head of Project Office Zhishan Foundation Taiwan said: “Taiwan Zhishan Foundation has been accompanying preschool children in Dakrong mountainous district for many years. With our activities, we want to contribute to improving the health situation and reducing the rate of malnutrition in children ”.


It is known that Zhishan Foundation Taiwan is a foreign non-governmental organization operating in Vietnam for more than 20 years. Since its first presence in Vietnam, this organization has been supporting Quang Tri children, including Dakrong district. The Taiwan Zhishan Foundation focuses on supporting disadvantaged children to receive free surgery and rehabilitation for children with mobility, urinary, and digestive disabilities; construction and semi-boarding support for preschools; sponsoring scholarships and giving practical gifts to help poor children not drop out of school halfway.
